Description
The Jashin Katana (邪神), or “Evil God,” is a masterpiece born from chaos and perfection. Forged through countless folds, its patterned steel reveals a unique, swirling texture that embodies the spirit of rebellion and strength.
Blade (刀身): Crafted from high-carbon folded steel, this blade has been twisted and hammered repeatedly, creating an exceptional grain pattern (hada). Its resilience allows it to bend up to 90° and return to perfect alignment instantly.
Guard (Tsuba 鍔): The solid copper tsuba is meticulously hand-carved and gilded with gold and silver, depicting divine motifs that contrast its dark aura — a symbol of power restrained by elegance.
Handle (Tsuka 柄): Wrapped in black cotton ito over white samegawa, the grip is firm and balanced. The copper menuki add both weight and harmony, merging art and functionality.
